The tradition-rich company „Gebr. Eickhoff Maschinenfabrik und Eisengießerei” in Bochum, who celebrated its 150th anniversary only last year, needed a professional partner for handling of transport logistics tasks such as efficient material flow and overhead transportation of goods. They ordered a total of 11 crane installations at TEICHMANN CRANES.

A gantry slewing crane in version of double level luffing jib crane with two curve running gears had been severely damaged by corrosion and needed repair. The repair works on the salt loading crane turned out to be diverse and complex.

A special loading and transport concept developed by TEICHMANN CRANES allowed loading an LIEBHERR mobile harbour crane, type LHM 400 in one piece without dismantling of the counterweights.

Again, TEICHMANN CRANES has been commissioned by Bayernhafen GmbH & Co. KG to relocate a gantry luffing jib crane. Only three days were needed for all works from dismantling of steel construction until re-erection. The complete sea transport was accomplished in only one day.
