TEICHMANN CRANES renews crane cabins on ship unloaders in Oldenburg

For the large agricultural company, Agravis AG, TEICHMANN CRANES has delivered two new crane cabins. In addition to the replacement of the old cabins, the main focus was on the development and construction of a new, individual custom-made cabin solution that would improve working conditions.

The initial working task was to replace the crane cabins on two ship unloaders with grab operation. In order to simultaneously optimise working conditions for the crane operator and enhance the field of vision, TEICHMANN CRANES delivered a special solution: the newly delivered crane cabins were positioned obliquely.

For this purpose, special platforms were constructed on which the new cabins were mounted. This special design enables crane operators to have an optimized field of vision in the future and makes their daily work easier. The new TEICHMANN cabins are fully air-conditioned, have a rotating control stand and are equipped with hardened safety glass.
