In September “GREIWING logistics for you GmbH” opened a new Logistics Centre in the Port of Duisburg enlarged their capacities on one of Europe’s most important logistics hubs by more than a third. Furthermore new equipment was purchased for container handling; among other acquisitions Greiwing bought a modern 45 t TEICHMANN Gantry Crane that is able to handle up to 30 lifting movements per day.

Last week our crane specialists dismantled a Double Level Luffing Jib Crane in Bamberg. From there the dismantled crane will be transported several hundred kilometres by ship all across the country.

Cooperation within the TeichmannGroup: TEICHMANN CRANES and Cranetech modernized a Double Girder OET Crane with magnetic installation and slewing gear trolley for an international Heavy Cargo Logistics Company.

„Get down from the office chair and get into your running shoes“ – More and more companies want to participate in the B2RUN Corporate Run with their employees. So did our affiliated company BRUNNHUBER CRANES GERMANY. After the last run in May 2016 the 5 runners took on the challenge on Friday evening and they successfully managed the 6 kilometres run.

In the early morning of 14 September 2016 the disassembled overhead travelling crane was collected by two huge trucks for being transported to the customer and for being reassembled the next day during ongoing maintenance works by our crane specialists under difficult conditions.

In August TEICHMANN CRANES received a rush order from Central America: Matrisa, S.A. de C.V., a manufacturer of machine parts, needed a reliable travelling crane. TEICHMANN CRANES not only was charged with the workshop overhaul, but also with the crane’s transportation over the Atlantic Ocean.

The TeichmannGroup keeps growing: In the meantime there are 9 locations in Germany and Switzerland specialized in cranes and crane services and working with bundled expertise and with decades of experience in crane construction in order to make the impossible possible for the customer in record time. The new subsidiary in Rostock will allow even shorter reaction times for customers in Northern Germany and beyond this region.

For one week the works on the double girder bridge crane for a paper factory in the Ruhr Area are in full progress. Besides general reconstruction and adaptation works on the steel construction and on the electrical system the altitude difference has to be adapted by one-sided jacking of the crane bridge due to the special situation of the existing crane runways in the paper factory.

Two years ago Brunnhuber Cranes Germany equipped the complete natural-gas power station of “Stadtwerke Essen” (municipal utility of Essen) with a total of 6 brand new cranes. This year the “Block Fortuna” started operation. In order to allow short reaction times in case of breakdown or maintenance action, regional company locations of the TeichmannGroup support Brunnhuber Cranes Germany in further support and service provision.

The action „Women’s Day at TEICHMANN CRANES“ was a big surprise for the male colleagues who did not know anything about it before. The action was very well received by all of them and it was a lot of fun for the female colleagues.
