„Your day for Africa“– Pupil Internship at TEICHMANN CRANES for a good cause

In the course of his internship at TEICHMANN Cranes, Phil, a pupil of class 9 of the Borbeck Secondary School had exciting insights into the everyday working life of a mechanic and he had the opportunity to try out small welding works. Our employees accompanied him through his first working day and answered many technical questions. And there was of course one or another exciting technical challenge.

The pupils also benefit from this action

For the ninth grader “Your day for Africa“ was a good opportunity to do a one-day internship at TEICHMANN CRANES. After a busy day in the large workshop hall, Phil remarks happily: “I like it very much here and the manual work is fun because I can learn a lot. And we even replaced ball bearings some minutes ago.” He benefits from the free minutes of the day looking around curiously and gazing at the cranes and large components being processed here for later delivery to places all over the world.

The ninth grader has made the first step in the direction of vocational orientation and he established the first contacts. We think that this is a good thing!
