The crane will be used at the company's headquarters in Postbauer-Heng, near Nuremberg, to handle 20-foot expanded glass granule containers and will replace an existing container crane.

Made-In-Germany quality for container handling

The gantry crane in tubular construction with a total bridge length of 50 m was manufactured at the TEICHMANN location in Essen. The container gantry crane is equipped with a two-rail rotatable trolley consisting of two individually and jointly movable hoists. The crane and the spreader can be operated both by cab control and by radio control. The lifting height of the crane is 13.5m which corresponds to a lifting height of 1 over 4 ISO containers.

Refurbished container crane in just 4 months

By refurbshing and adapting an existing crane, the delivery time of the like new container crane was substantially reduced for the customer. Instead of a delivery time of 12 months as it is the case for new container cranes, TEICHMANN CRANES delivered the refurbished and customer-specifically adapted crane in just 4 months. For all newly installed parts, the customer receives a manufacturer's warranty of 12 months. In addition, TEICHMANN CRANES guarantees a 12-month warranty on the entire steel structure.

Remote maintenance system for maximum system availability

For an uncomplicated crane maintenance, the crane is equipped with a remote maintenance system, which allows remote access to the built-in PLC control and the frequency converters of the crane. This allows malfunctions to be localized quickly and downtimes to be minimized.
