MORE POWER FOR STOCKHOLM: BRUNNHUBER delivers special crane for the Citylink project

As part of the “City Link” project, new power tunnels are currently being constructed at depths of up to 100 meters. The goal is to improve the electricity supply in the greater Stockholm area, which is facing a steadily increasing energy demand due to population growth.

For the construction and excavation of a 100m deep shaft, BRUNNHUBER CRANES supplied a special overhead traveling crane, which is additionally equipped with a personnel basket for emergency evacuations. At 100m depth, this shaft is the deepest of a total of six shafts in the Citylink project.
