“Girls’ Day” at TEICHMANN CRANES in Essen!

Both girls liked the work very much. However, they were very tired at the end of the day

The “Girls Day” has become the world’s largest vocational project for school girls and it is an important opportunity for convincing also girls to choose scientific and technical occupations.

At this year’s “Girl’s Day” TEICHMANN CRANES as an apprenticing company invited two 14 years old school girls from the “Albert Einstein” school in Essen to give them an insight into the work of a mechanic overhauling a gear unit. Here, Lilli and Pia could, of course under supervision, demonstrate their practical skills in the crane hall for a whole day and were able to find out what it means working in a technical profession as welder or mechanic.
